Essential Hajj tips

First of all... Heartiest congratulations to you, on being the chosen one. As you are reading this, I pray it means that you have been selected by your Lord to visit the purest place on earth very soon or later and so you are preparing in advance.
Only a handful of the lucky ones among the universe get the chance to visit the purest places on earth. So, I would love to share some of my experiences during Hajj 2018. As we all have heard from our childhood stories that either young or old, Hajj is toughest for all.
Before experiencing it by myself every individual I met, in every gathering, be it a family member or a training session, told us about the toughness of Hajj. But that isn't the case my dear brothers and sisters; I would say it is the simplest thing that could ever happen to me.
I have seen people of ages 100+ walking with full spirits without supports, in fact, motivating the tired young people.
Here are a few quick tips
1-Please do remember you will be there for ibadah, make the most of your time. You can rest back home for as long as you want.

2- Absorb every positive vibe around you, enjoy every bit of your journey.

3-Always, always pack light, It will help you and your travel mates to move comfortably throughout (a few clothes, washing supplies, electronics gear, medicinal stuff)

4-Prefer handwash your clothes than laundry, or packing too many will also burden you more.

5-Take extra good care of your health during your entire visit. Consuming extra cold drinks & wrong foods may endanger your health & you might become a burden on others ( God Forbid).

6-Try to help others as much a possible, in any means like pulling any brothers wheelchair, help anyone drag a heavy suitcase, give any dehydrated person a bottle of water, distribute sweets or fruits between kids. In this way, you can utilize your powers & energies to please Allah in the best way possible.

7-Its a Journey of Sab'r. Take a single bag of your luggage and 100 bags of patience, since it starts using the minute we leave our home.

8-Always keeps lots of rehydration salts with you to consume it for yourselves also to distribute it for your fellow brothers and sisters.

9-Always keep an umbrella, cap, elastic umbrella ( available at local stores in Saudia), water bottle, sunglasses, prayer mat with you to combat the scorching heat.

9-Make a habit of walking at least an hour daily in your closed shoes.

Pro tip When going for Arafat and Muzdalifah from Mina, take the most important things (IREPEAT ONLY THE ESSENTIALS.) I know everything seems sooo important at that time but just trust your Lord. Just take up the extreme essentials in a bag .. Otherwise You will end up regretting taking up tons of baggage with you experimenting your stamina and will ultimately loose the strength to make a heartful Ibadah.   The things that you might need for an upcoming 1-1.5 days (that depends upon *). Kindly don't take the entire 5-6 days gear with you and burden yourselves. Nobody there is keen on stealing the assets of Allah's guests and, it will be protected as it is.

Please do remember all Muslims in your precious prayers especially me and my family.
Jazak Allah Khair
